women's advisory councils
Linking women in the developed world to women in the developing world will create a powerful transformational model for both groups of women. This connection will produce sustainable women-led communities in economically underdeveloped countries. Utilizing this Women-to-Women approach will create local partnerships in the developed world and enhanced gender parity and solidarity in the developing world.
Groups of local women leaders will become fundraisers, grant advisers and advocates on behalf of women in the developing world. Our goal is to connect women who have access to capital to women who don't through sustainable agriculture and the global market. Each Council will be given the choice of 3-5 fully vetted potential projects for which to take ownership and raise funds. By giving our Women's Councils a say in our grant making, we are empowering them to make choices and use their influence to change women's lives in the developing world forever.
We currently have Women's Advisory Councils in Los Angeles and Silicon Valley and will soon be adding groups in Washington D.C., Chicago, IL and Georgia. Please contact us if you are interested in joining one of these unique, significant councils in the fight to end hunger!
